Stacey is the owner as well as a stylist at Shear Artistry. Although sometimes, it seems she's also a Chaos Manager and Adult Care Provider! She has 22 years of experience in the hair industry. Stacey truly loves her career and enjoys helping people feel better about themselves.
Stacey is where she is today because she wanted to offer a better experience for her guests while offering her employees/co-workers a salon atmosphere and work experience rival to none.
Starting out her training at Calhoun Community College, Pivot Point Training, Stacey continues to train extensively with Redken and Pureology artists such as Michael Cole, Tina Terry Hunt, Ty Isobe and Lori Zabel, Jill DeMeyer, Andrew Carruthers and Sam Villa.  Stacey is a Certified Redken Colorist, Redken Certified Design Stylist as well as a Certified Pureology Expert.  Stacey believes that in this industry, education and learning can never end.  As trends and styles are constantly changing, so are the techniques to achieve them.  Stacey also believes in passing it on.  She mentors up and coming stylists that participate in an associate program.  Working one on one with her daily, they gain a first hand knowledge and the self confidence needed to be successful at a much faster pace than someone going it alone.
When she's not behind the chair, she enjoys spending time with her family, her 3 teenage daughters, decorating interior spaces, or reading as an escape from her my super busy, chaotic life.
Her passion is sharing the knowledge of the “how and why” we do what we do with each guest, not just knowing they feel better about themselves but understanding the "WHY" behind it. As an example, maybe it’s because their new cut or color compliments their facial shape. Stacey feels “accomplished” when a guest has an “A-HA” moment about their hair service and leaves with an understanding on how to duplicate their new look at home. If she can share "why" to wear this jewelry, color, patterns, vs. the "why not", and they get it… then it’s the BIG picture! Their whole look! Stacey strives to find a connection with each of her guests by looking for what makes them who they are.
